The VHD pumps are of horizontal multistage centrifugal design with arrangement of its stages in line one behind other one in a number corresponding to required delivery head. They are suitable for handling clean water up to 80 o C. These pumps have been designed for higher delivery heads. Axial forces are balanced in a hydraulic way with balancing disk. Delivery head mustn’t be lower than 80 m so that sufficient pressure for right function of balancing disk could be reached.
